He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?”

And when all our enemies heard of it, all the nations around us were afraid and fell greatly in their own esteem, for they perceived that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.

But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.

But I did not do so, because of the fear of God.

I also shook out the fold[a] of my garment and said, “So may God shake out every man from his house and from his labor who does not keep this promise. So may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said “Amen” and praised the Lord. And the people did as they had promised.

Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

They must be silenced, since they are upsetting whole families by teaching for shameful gain what they ought not to teach.

For your eyes have seen all the great work of the Lord that he did.

I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut. I know that you have but little power, and yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.
