Loving God (John 12:1-33)

In the Gospel of John, the Apostle John wrote to both believers of Christ, and unbelievers. He was addressing people who were very skeptical about Jesus, His words and deeds. Our Speech, always with grace, and seasoned with salt

James 3:6 says that the tongue, if used wrongly, is a fire, a world of iniquity’ (Jam 3:6). “The tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full deadly poison” (3:8). With the same tongue we bless God our Father (3:9), and with it we curse men who are made in the image of God. James says that it is not right for the same mouth to give forth blessing as well as cursing. Pray for our Government

Complaining is a Singaporean hobby. It is something we all do. We complain about the hot weather, food, bad service, the transport system, the COEs, the education system, the CPF and the Government. As Christians, we ought to stop complaining but to pray and give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18), looking at circumstances and things in God’s perspective. Hebrews 9 : 11-12

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption of us.

Genesis 15 : 5-6

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
