When I wrote Waiting: A Necessary Pause in Time, I meant it for myself. Waiting has never been my forte. One example is waiting for the ROS (Registry of Societies) to approve our application to register the BPCIS (Bible – Presbyterian Church in Singapore). When a year passed without a word, I grew restless. Finally, after 1 1/2 years, the approval came last month. Have You Checked Your Spiritual Health?

All of us probably know how important it is to keep yourself in good health. you go for regular health checks in order to see if your blood pressure and blood sugar is too high or too low. These are some key indicators of your health. There are devices on the market that enable people to do self-monitoring of their own blood pressure and blood sugar. We also know that early detection is the best way to deal with certain diseases. One of the worst things is to be sick or ill and not know anything about it until it is too late. Growing Spiritually in Christ
(“Increase with the increase of God” – Col 2:19b)

Undeniable growth is a natural phenomenon like the hairs on the head, or a seed exposed to moisture will develop into a plant, and soon bear fruit. When a tree starts to grow, it will let nothing hinder its long-term development: the stone pavements will be uplifted by its strong roots and the branches will even intertwine through fences and stone walls.
