Pray for our Government

Complaining is a Singaporean hobby. It is something we all do. We complain about the hot weather, food, bad service, the transport system, the COEs, the education system, the CPF and the Government. As Christians, we ought to stop complaining but to pray and give thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:18), looking at circumstances and things in God’s perspective. Hebrews 9 : 11-12

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption of us.

The Christian and Modern Technology

Modern technology is proceeding at such a rapid pace that it is presenting society with more options than we can handle. Things which were never issues before simply because they were impossible have suddenly become issues today. One danger we face is that these increased options may cause us to trespass into forbidden territory – To break God’s commandments or to usurp prerogatives that belong to God alone.
